Yumi Ogata, D.M.D., D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Ogata received her dental degree (D.M.D.) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ogata completed her residency and earned Certificate in Periodontology and Master of Science (M.S.) Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has had extensive training in periodontal non-surgical procedures (scaling and root planing, periodontal medicine) and periodontal surgeries (periodontal plastic surgeries, flap surgeries, regenerative surgeries) as well as implant related surgeries (implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lift surgery).
Dr. Ogata is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Ogata is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She has publications on periodontal surgery and implantology both nationally and internationally. She has given many presentations and lectures at various dental conferences.
Dr. Ogata is an active member of American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), International Association for Dental Research (IADR), American Association for Dental Research (AADR), American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
Dr. Ogata is dedicated to providing her dental care with the great emphasis of patients’ comfort and highest quality of esthetics and functions to her patients.
