If dental implants aren’t the most fascinating advancement in dental technologies in the past few years, they certainly are right up there with advances of metal-free restorations and Invisalign invisible braces.
A beautiful, healthy smile says a lot about us. Among the statements it makes are success, great self esteem and confidence.
Dental implants are amazing and conservative restorations because they replace missing teeth without having to drill off enamel of adjacent teeth. Implants are self supporting starting with a pure titanium root (fixture) and finished with a porcelain or zirconium crown. Modern day materials make shading and coloring of crowns very accurate especially when no metal is used. This allows the natural translucency of teeth to transfer through to porcelain teeth. This means there is no metal under the external porcelain that has to be blocked from shining through.
Dental implants are very versatile. They can be used to replace one tooth or many teeth. They are substitutes for dentures, partial dentures, and dental bridges.
Here at Richard Lewis DMD and Associates, pure titanium dental implants and restorations are precision fit using the latest in digital imaging and advanced dental technologies. We use a variety of implant systems all made from pure titanium. These include 3i Biomet, Brannemark, Straumann, and Bicon, implant systems. For the crown phase of dental implants we often use Bruxzir, Empress, and Zirconia metal free crowns.
It is common these days, under the right circumstances, to make whole arches on just four strategically placed dental implants. (This has been colloquially called “Full on Four” in recent times.)
We have been doing dental implants regularly for over 20 years. We are one of the only dental offices in our Massachusetts area of Woburn, Burlington, Winchester, Billerica, Wilmington, Bedford and Lexington where patients can have the whole implant and restoration procedures done in one very convenient location.
We look forward of serving you, your family and friends. You can reach us direct at 781 272 5890 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
